iPhone 8 Review

iPhone 8 Review

In early September, Apple announced the release of iPhone 8. This device has attracted iPhone lovers due to its amazing screen display, battery life, and compact size. iPhone 8 is powered by a 2GB RAM. There are certain unique features that stand out about the iPhone 8. We’ll take a look at them below.

It’s super lightweight

iPhone 8 has a small, compact design and comes with a stunning aluminum frame with glass on the front and back. The smartphone is available in different colors including silver, space grey, and gold. The phone is quite small in size with dimensions 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3mm and weighs only 148 grams compared to the iPhone 8 plus which weighs 202 grams.

Better battery life

One of the unique features of the iPhone 8 is its bionic chip which helps the device to run more efficiently. With this feature, users can take advantage and download high-power applications without compromising their battery life. This chip offers the device a lot of power even though it’s hard to assume the fact that iPhone 8 doesn’t have a high-power camera.

Wireless charging

This device comes with one unique and attractive feature, wireless charging. Though Apple doesn’t make any wireless chargers yet, the device can work with virtually any pad. Though, expect it to charge much slower on the pad than when it is plugged into the wall. With wireless charging capabilities, your device can continue to charge when you put it down. This is one capability that has been in Android phones for a long time and now iPhone users can enjoy it too.

A better camera

The other major difference with the iPhone 8 that you’re likely to notice is the camera. The phone comes with a 12-megapixel front camera sensor and the bionic processor that makes taking photos a more efficient and fast process. This phone has a single camera at the pack and a 7-megapixel camera at the front for taking selfies. Expect to take fantastic photos with the iPhone 8 bearing in mind that the HDR setting is now by default. With iPhone 8’s new camera you can:

–          Shoot slow motion videos in 1080px

–          Shoot videos at 60 frames per second and 24 frames per second

–          Portrait mode which allows you to change the light in a photo

–          Turn a live photo into a loop

–          Switch between so many different types of shooting modes

There are so many tricks to fool around with the camera and it’ll take a while before you can learn all of them. That’s a good thing in my books!

Impressive LCD screen

iPhone 8’s screen is clear and bright to look at with a distinctively sharp appearance. The 4.7-inch True Tone LCD display has a resolution of 1334×750 pixels at 326 ppi. The device has a screen to body ratio of 65.6%. The LCD display delivers proper contrast and power savings. True Tone technology has been incorporated in this device’s display where color balances against ambient light in order to offer greater accuracy.
